About the project

Welcome at the project’s website

"The Center for Advanced Studies - the development of interdisciplinary doctoral studies at the Gdansk University of Technology in the key areas of the Europe 2020 Strategy

The project is co-financed by the European Union within the European Social Fund – Human Capital Operational Programme (HC OP):

  • Priority IV: Tertiary Education and Science
  • Measure 4.3: “Strengthening the didactic potential of universities in the fields of key importance for the aims of Europe 2020 Strategy”

Amount of co-financing

The project has received the co-financing under the agreement with the National Centre for Research and Development amounting to PLN 12,397,528.00. The following actions are planned among others:

  • devote ca. PLN 600,000 to didactic activities for PhD students (new courses, soft-skills classes, workshops)
  • spend more than PLN 6.8 million in a form of scholarships for PhD students, young PhDs and visiting professors
  • organise a system of fellowships and internships for the students – planned means for this aim amount to PLN 3.2 million
